Taka alternative Theory Part9

The group of lionesses allowed Taka to go with them. But the most of them didn`t show him much attention except one. Her name was Zira. After their hunting party she walked to Taka and shared her amount of prey with him.

You need something to eat, she said.
But Taka was suspicious "Why do you help me?", he asked.
"Would you have to prefer to die here alone?" Zira smiled.
"You didn`t answer my question."
"Well, you see we are only few young lionesses and it is a harsh world we are living in. There are a lot stupid rogue lions and you just seemed to be none of them. That`s it."
Taka looked closely at her. One of her ear was ripped and he had already recognised that also some of the other lionesses had damages like this.
"But now you!" Zira interruped his thoughts. "If you had the permission to live in the pridelands, what kind of madness made you leave? Did you do something stupid?" She started laughing.
"No, I left voluntary because I wanted."
"Really? Then you are weird. I wish I could live there. You must be really spoilt if you think the Pridelands are not good enough"
"Oh yes, I am very spoilt" Taka grumbled. "So spoilt that I prefer to live with some tramps.
"What?! Watch your words!" Zira snareld.
"My mother was also a tramp, I never said that it is bad to be one. She even tramped away when I was a cub" Taka roled with his eyes.
"Ah", Zira said loud. "So the good boy only wants to follow in his mother`s pawsteps?"
"No" Taka`s voice became serious. "I want to follow in my father`s one day."
